Our Chamber Music program provides a structured coaching, rehearsal and performance experience that runs throughout the entire academic year! Students who participate in chamber music learn how to be independent musicians while working with their peers to foster cooperation and teamwork. The experience is pedagogically sequenced to fit the playing levels of all participants and students are grouped by playing level and age. Students participating in Chamber Music will have the opportunity to work with special chamber music clinicians and are expected to perform at least twice during the academic year. Additional performance opportunities may be available.
This class is intended for students Grade 4-12 (Suzuki Bk 4+ for violin; Suzuki Bk 3+ for viola and cello OR equivalent). Exceptions can be made based on teacher recommendation.
Our annual tuition, which includes 40 weeks of private instruction plus the opportunity to attend dozens of Conservatory events at no additional cost, doesn't cover the total cost of your musical education here. If you would like to help us cover the remaining 30 percent, please give what you can — or consider being a recurring donor to support our mission all year long!Donate now!
