The Omaha Conservatory of Music is proud to present an opportunity for students to learn from and interact with award-winning violinist Jinjoo Cho, through a Master Class presented from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm on Saturday, January 27th, 2018. The event is presented free of charge and open to the public. Six young musicians from across the community will be selected through an audition process to participate as a performer at the Master Class.
In addition to participating in the Master Class, students and families have the opportunity to see Jinjoo Cho perform in recital at the Omaha Conservatory of Music on Friday, January 26 at 7:00 pm. The program will be presented free of charge.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Master Class, but only six lucky students will have the opportunity to play and perform. We are currently accepting applications for advanced concerto level students only. (Suzuki Book 7 and above). Submitted video auditions will be vetted by area professional musicians and teachers who do not have conflicts of interest and/or students who are auditioning for the experience.
Applications/Auditions must be received by Saturday, January 13th, at 5:00 pm. Although the Master Class is presented free of charge, applicants must pay a $5.00 (five dollar) fee for their application to be considered.

We ask that only participants who will be able to participate in the Master Class on Saturday, January 27, submit an application. The Omaha Conservatory will provide an accompanist and provide time to rehearse beginning one hour prior to the start of the Master Class on the 27th. Participants may choose to hire their own accompanist for the experience.
