All OCMI students will participate in both large and small ensembles specific to their majors in addition to Master Classes, Superheroes of Music History, and one elective of your choosing. Also...

FOUNDATIONS Strings students will participate in Superhero Tools & Gadgets and Rhythm Jam classes, and will rehearse and perform in instrument repertoire classes. • $250 (+$25 registration fee)

FANFARE Strings students will participate either in Symphony and Chamber Music; or Sinfonia and Repertoire Class, depending on their level of play. • $500 (+$25 registration fee)

For beginning-level students (through Book 2)

8:30am • Superhero Tools & Gadgets (Music Theory)
9am • Rhythm Jam
9:30am • Instrument Repertoire Class
10:30am • BREAK
11am • Superheroes of Music History
11:30am-Noon • Master Class


For intermediate-level students (violin Books 3-5; viola/cello/bass Books 2-3) and advanced-level students (violin Book 6+; viola/cello/bass Book 3+)

8:30am • Master Class (private lessons split between two other Fanfare students on your same instrument)
9:30am • Sinfonia (Intermediate Orchestra) or Symphony (Advanced Orchestra/Festival Scholars)
10:30am • Sectionals
11:30am • Practice Hour
12:30pm • LUNCH
1:15pm • Chamber Music
2:15pm • Music History
3:15pm • Practice Hour / Extra Elective or Master Class
4:15pm • Elective: Wind/Brass Small Group
