Composer Club is a fun-filled monthly meeting for children ages 8 and up. It's perfect for both students that are interested in composing and those that compose already! We will explore the building blocks of composition as well as improvising, making instruments and learning about other composers!
Adult Composer Club is for adults who compose, improvise or dabble in making music. We will explore a variety of topics drawn from: form in music, improvisation, how to overcome writer's block, listening activities and more! For adults 18 and over and students with teacher recommendation.
Times: Hosted on Sundays
Drop in fee: $10 per student, bring cash or check to the event. Pay for the whole season up front and receive one session for FREE (6 sessions total, $50 for entire series - no refunds).
In the event of any student absence, please notify your instructor in advance. After the second consecutive missed class without notice or contact, the student may be dismissed and the date of the second missed class will be considered the official withdrawal date. All withdrawal policies will be followed.
Students are encouraged to be on time. Students who are late for class cannot be guaranteed their full class time.
Omaha Conservatory of Music reserves the right to dismiss any student without a refund due to frequent absences, disciplinary problems, overdue tuition payments, and/or noncompliance with the Conservatory's policies.
Group class tuition payments are due 5 days prior to the first class session. Class tuition is non-refundable after this point, regardless of the reason for withdrawal.
Our annual tuition, which includes 40 weeks of private instruction plus the opportunity to attend dozens of Conservatory events at no additional cost, doesn't cover the total cost of your musical education here. If you would like to help us cover the remaining 30 percent, please give what you can — or consider being a recurring donor to support our mission all year long!Donate now!
